Piping
Congratulations to Callum McCaig who gained third place in the 18 and under National Mod Competition.  He also gained a first, second and third place at the Festival of Solo Piping which took place in Ardrossan.

National Youth Brass Band of Scotland
Douglas MacKillop (trombone) and Alex Mitchell (trumpet) have successfully auditioned for the National Youth Brass Band of Scotland and have been awarded places. Congratulations to them both.  The band will tour Japan in 2008.

National Youth Choir of Scotland
Congratulations to Lauren Matthew who, after spending a year in the training choir, has successfully auditioned for the National Youth Choir of Scotland in 2006.  She annually spends one week at Merchiston Castle School attending a residential course.  NYCoS hopes to tour Hungary in 2007.
