Scottish Schools' Swimming Championships

On Saturday January 31 the Scottish Schools' Swimming Association held the finals of their annual championships at Tollcross Leisure Centre in Glasgow, the same venue that will be used for the Commonwealth Games in 2014.

Well done to the Junior School Girls' Relay team - Sarah Bradford & Kharis Cunningham (Transitus) and Eilidh Love and Iona Miller (Junior 6). The girls all swam well and improved on their entry time by 5 seconds to finish 9^th in the girls 12& Under 200m freestyle relay.

Congratulations also to Jack McCusker (Senior IV) who qualified for 2 individual swims, boys 15/16 200m IM and 100 Free, and finished 6^th in both of these events.
