Young Writer 2012
In December our writer-in-residence, Ms Zhang, worked with pupils from Junior 4 to Transitus and with the afterschool Writing Club at Senior School to produce prose and poetry on the themes 'Olympic Spirit' or 'Olympic Dreams'. The work was submitted to the Rotary Young Writer competition, which has been granted the prestigious Inspire mark by the London 2012 Inspire programme. Six young writers have been chosen to proceed to the district level of the competition.
Mr John Douglas from Gryffe Valley Rotary Club visited the School to present the winners with their prizes.
