ICT is one of five core skills formally recognised by National Qualifications. For ICT, pupils should be able to operate IT systems and use a range of software applications. Mrs Wallace has overall responsibility for ICT within the School, while Mrs Hecht has responsibility for the development of ICT within the Junior School.
The School aims continually to develop its ICT system both to enhance learning and teaching, and to streamline many aspects of administration, including communication with parents.
In partnership with RM machines, a leading education provider, we are building an extensive resource for homework, revision and learning, based on wireless laptops and white boards. In addition, pupils are increasingly using the Internet at home to further their learning, frequently with parental assistance.
