The School Honours system aims to recognise achievement by pupils in extra curricular activities. The Honours Committee, under the chairmanship of Mrs C Miller, meets to consider all proposals by colleagues and make final recommendations to the Rector.  A detailed set of criteria has been established, against which all Honours Awards are considered.  Presentations will take place three times a year: January, April and June.

The following is a summary of the Honours Award system.

Junior Half Colours	SI-III	High level of performance in an extra curricular School activity; regular attendance; keen and enthusiastic. Minimum of 2 terms for SI pupils.
Junior Colours	SI-III	Outstanding contribution. Representation at high level as appropriate to activity (e.g. RSNO; district squad).
Senior Half Colours	SIV-VI	High level of performance in an extra curricular School activity; regular attendance; keen and enthusiastic. Minimum of 2 terms for SIV pupils. PE dates will be awarded to pupils who have played 75% of 1st team hockey or rugby.
Senior Colours	SIV-VI	Outstanding contribution. Representation at very high level as appropriate to activity (e.g. RSNO; district squad).
Silver Honours	Not necessarily restricted by age/year group	Participation at national level in an activity either in or out of School.
