Pastoral Issues
- Senior School
The Head of House is the first and main point of contact for parents. The four Houses and Heads of House are:
Each Head of House has overall responsibility for all aspects of School life including the academic study, pastoral care and discipline of the pupils in his or her House. Heads of House can be contacted by email, telephone on 01505 872238 or in writing.
- Junior School
Any parent who wishes to discuss a pastoral issue, School buses, lunchtime arrangements, health and safety, School trips, pupil conduct or lost property should contact Mrs Hecht, Depute Head or Mrs Cook, Head of Junior School.
Absence Notes
Parents are asked to phone the School on the first morning of an absence. A note explaining the cause of your child’s absence should be given to the Class/Form Teacher on his or her return to School. If he or she is likely to be absent for three or more days, it would be appreciated if you advise the School of the anticipated duration of the absence.
Request for Leave of Absence
If you wish your child to have leave of absence for all or part of a day - for a family occasion, sports competition or medical/dental appointment during normal School hours, for example - please write to the Class/Form Teacher to give advance notice of the specific date and times.
If you need to have a more extended leave of absence, please write to the Rector/Head of Junior School.
Music Tuition
All enquiries about music tuition, bands and orchestras should be addressed to the Ms Yvonne Carey, Head of Music.
Sports Fixtures and Cancellations
Games cancelled by Friday - pupils will be notified in School.
All cancellations, including those made on Saturday morning, will be notified via a phone round and posted on the School website.
