Stephanie Bell (SIV) is looking forward to the October break when she will be spending a weekend rehearsing in Stirling and performing with the NYCoS Scotland Choir.

This year Stephanie successfully auditioned for the NYCoS National Girls’ Choir, conducted by Christopher Bell. Stephanie was chosen to perform as one of a group of six girls from the entire choir during the end-of-course concert at the Caird Hall in Dundee.

Following a residential course, she was one of 20 girls from the National Girls’ Choir selected to sing with the NYCoS Scotland Choir at the Usher Hall during the Edinburgh Festival. The repertoire included Bach’s ‘St Matthew Passion’ with the Monteverdi Choir and Orchestra, conducted by Sir John Eliot Gardiner, and Elgar’s ‘The Apostles’ with the Edinburgh Festival Chorus and the RSNO, conducted by Edward Gardner.
