Capital Development Fundraising

I am very pleased to advise you that last Saturday’s Fundraising Ball has contributed over £60,000 to the Capital Campaign.   This is a very impressive figure and the Board of governors would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event.  In particular, we would like to thank Graeme and Caroline Muir, their colleagues on the organising committee, and the marketing and development team at the School.  Their hard work and commitment helped to ensure that the Ball was a great success.

Our fundraising campaign is continuing and the total now stands at over £850,000.   Everyone who has donated will be listed on the donor wall within the new building.  If you have not donated yet and would like to be included, please ensure that your donation has been received by Monday 17th October.   Donations by cheque can be sent to our Capital Campaign Fundraiser, Penny Lewis in the development department at Senior School.  Alternatively, you can donate online via the following link:   https://mydonate.bt.com/donation/start.html?charity=138407

The Girdwood Building will be ready in time for pupils returning to School after the October holidays.  We are all absolutely delighted with what has been achieved and with the end result. The building will be formally opened on Wednesday 9th November, when you are cordially invited to view it between 6pm and 8pm.

Yours sincerely

Calum Paterson
Chairman, Board of Governors
