Jessica Curry (SVI) and Hannah McLoughlin (SV) reached the final in St Andrews yesterday. Although they did not win they were joint best speakers on tab and also the top ranked team after four rounds. Jamie Beverstock (SV) and Freddie Gilmour (SIV) were joint seventh on the speaker tab.
We wish four of our debaters well for this coming weekend. Jessica Curry, Hannah McLoughlin, Jamie Beverstock and Rachael Curry (SV) are four of the final twelve trialists for the Scottish Schools’ Debating team. This weekend sees the final five selected.
