29th November 2016

Continuing with their fundraising effort in the lead up to next spring’s Tour to New York,  the Pipe Band’s Concert on Friday 25th November was a huge success.

An audience of 250 filled the Junior School Hall to enjoy a varied programme of music and dancing which included items not only from the full Band but also from the Development Group, the Chanter Group, solo singer Rowan McKillop (SVI), Highland dancer Eilish Murphy (SVI) and not forgetting spectacular solo pipe renditions by Finlay Frame (SVI), Jack Guthrie (SVI) and Piping Instructor Mr Walker.

Over £3000 was raised through ticket sales, a prize raffle and a live auction of rugby tickets for the Boxing Day derby fixture between Edinburgh and Glasgow.
