Scottish Schools Fencing Championships

Congratulations to Olivia Burns (SII) who represented St Columba's at the Scottish Schools Fencing Championships in Linlithgow and achieved second place at épée fencing.
This follows on from Olivia's Under-15 category win the at the recent Pentathlon GB regional competition held at Bishop Burton, Yorkshire, where Olivia was again part of the Scottish Modern Pentathlon squad and had a very successful competition with a 2nd place in the fencing section, 2nd in the combined shoot/run, 4th in the swim and a clear round in the show jumping, all of which culminated in her overall win in her age group.
