Well done to Emily Barron and Sasha Charter (J6) who have been accepted onto next years' Music course at the Junior Conservatoire, part of the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.

The Junior Conservatoire programmes offer young people their first taste of arts education in a place that is like no other.

For more than 50 years, the Junior Conservatoire has encouraged thousands of young people aged 11–18 to fulfil their artistic potential, develop essential life skills and explore a world of possibilities within the arts and far beyond.

Students can apply and audition for 11 exciting courses across music, dance, drama, production and film. At the weekends, and some evenings, students attend the Junior Conservatoire to take part in masterclasses, performances, collaborations, rehearse with friends and take part in one-to-one lessons with specialist teachers.
