11th April 2018

Last night saw the launch of Police Scotland Youth Volunteers Inverclyde. This initiative is about encouraging young people to take part in volunteering alongside Police Scotland. Finlay Gray, SII, was invited to pipe at the launch. Molly Rose, SIII, was presented with a certificate for being the 1000th volunteer to the programme. Jamie Hay, SIII, volunteer for the programme was also in attendance. Existing volunteers came along to share how the programme has helped them and speakers talked about how being a part of the programme will help the children in the future, no matter what career path they take.

We look forward to being kept updated with the great events the volunteers get to be a part of, the Military Tattoo being just one example.
