St Columba’s hosted the West of Scotland Independent Schools’ Pastoral Group yesterday afternoon and were delighted to welcome Frank Deas, Prevent Lead for G Division, Scott Murray, Police Scotland Prevent Delivery Unit and John Edwards, Scottish Council of Independent Schools. An update on the implementation of the Prevent Strategy was followed by discussion of best practice relating to many pastoral matters affecting our Schools.
