Junior 4 had a visit from 'Micinius' the Roman Centurion on Friday, who travelled all the way from the north of the Antonine Wall! The children learned about life in the Roman army, including following orders and marching. Pupils were also taught how to play the Roman dice game '5s and 2s', and were given the opportunity to try on some armour and handle items which were over 2000 years old.
