Congratulations to several of our musicians on representing the School in various musical groups of which the selection process is rigorous.

Sasha Charter, Emily Barron, Callum Hendry (Transitus), Isla Macpherson, Emily Phillips (SIV) and Stephanie Bell (SV) performed in the WOSIS Concert (West of Scotland Independent Schools' Orchestra). Pieces included Star Wars, West Side Story Medley and The Blues Brothers Revue.

Rory MacLean (SV) performed in the West of Scotland Schools' Symphony Orchestra (WSSSO) last week as part of a 7-day orchestral course at Gartmore House in Stirling culminating with a concert on Sunday 10th June where he performed Rachmaninoff's Symphony No.2, Liszt's Hungarian Rhapsody No.2 and the Kalliwoda Oboe Concerto at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as the Associate Principal Cellist.  This is his second year at WSSSO and he will go on to play a number of concerts in August before re-auditioning at the end of the year.

Hannah Findlater (SV) performed with the West of Scotland Schools' Concert Band and Sofia Latif (Transitus) has also successfully auditioned for the RSNO Junior Chorus and begins rehearsals next week.
