10 pupils represented St Columba's in the Aquathlon at the Scottish School’s Championships at a cold, wind-swept and sometimes snowy East Kilbride.

In the SI/II boys category, Jack Patton finished 13th overall in a time of 13:40, Lewis Heasley 24th in 14:46, Calum Fleming 28th in 15:11 and Fraser Currie 51st in 18:26.

Olivia Burns and Lucy Bliss represented the girls and were 28th and 42nd respectively in times of 15:58 and 16:37.

In the SIII/IV competition Gavin Findlay recorded a time of 19:40, which placed him 17th. 

There were two medals in the Senior events; Josh Hendry won Bronze in the boys competition with a time of 22:30 and Iona Miller won Gold in the girls race with a time of 23:34.

In the team relay event Kim Crawford joined Jack Patton, Josh Hendry and Iona Miller at 5th place in a combined time of 30:57.

Congratulations to all competitors who performed exceptionally well in difficult conditions.
