Emily Phillips (SV) auditioned during the summer term on her flute for the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland Seniors National Youth Wind Ensemble and was accepted to join students from the UK, Europe and as far afield as Australia who had come to take part in the course. They rehearsed a challenging repertoire and gave a super performance at RCS. Emily had a fantastic time gaining an enormous amount from meeting other young musicians.
Emily, Grace Sutermeister, Isla Macpherson (SV) and Sasha Charter (SI) attended and performed with the National Youth Ensemble Juniors at the High School this summer and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
