3rd September 2018

Today marked the beginning of SepSTEMber at Senior School as Mrs Houston launched a new society for pupils dedicated to finding answers to ‘impossible’ challenges.

“You’re going to take the first steps on Mars. You’re going to plant farms on skyscrapers. You’re going to discover a cure for cancer. Nuclear fusion. Virtual reality. Clean water for all. Your interest in science and maths is about to pay off - big time!”

Exciting...and a fantastic addition to our Electronics, BBC Micro:bit Coding, E-textiles and Creativity in Engineering, Science and Technology (CREST) clubs.

Look out for the STEM Society stall at the Summer Fete on 8th September and keep your eyes peeled for a host of STEM-related activities being rolled out this month.
