3rd December 2018

As part of their Africa Project, Junior 6 spent the morning learning how to play the djembe drum and to dance some traditional Guinean dances. Both classes spent an hour and a half perfecting their techniques and then came together for a 20 minute showcase to some of their parents and Junior 5. The children thoroughly enjoyed the hands-on approach to learning about a different culture...some of them will be drumming in their sleep!

A huge thanks to Bruno and Erik from Ayawara who showed relentless energy and enthusiasm!
