The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service visited Senior V pupils to discuss the Anthony Nolan Register, which aims to find a genetic match for patients with blood cancer or a blood disorder so that they can receive a lifesaving stem cell transplant. The pupils received a presentation on the process and now have time to discuss this with their families and decide if they wish to register next week.
Visit the Anthony Nolan website or watch this brief video to find out more.
