18th February 2019

On Tuesday 12th February, author Lindsay Littleson visited the Junior School to present at the Junior 4 - Junior 6 assembly. She spoke to the pupils about the inspiration behind her books and shared excerpts from ‘The Pattern of Secrets’. The pupils were then lucky enough to hear a sneak peak of her new book ‘Guardians of the Wild Unicorns’.

Lindsay was kind enough to leave a signed copy of ‘Guardians of the Wild Unicorns’ which is not due for launch until 7th March. To this end, the School will be running a competition for J4-J6 and feel the book would be an extremely special prize for someone to receive.

If you would like to be in with a chance of winning the book before it is launched then please see details below:

Competition Details

Lindsay Littleson discussed the fact that Scotland and the history of Scotland play an important part of her inspiration for her books. Do you have her next story idea? If you think you do, please give details of the characters, setting and a brief plot of your idea.

Your entry should be no more than one side of A4 paper. It can be in any format: typed, post-its, mindmap, handwritten.

The closing date for the competition is Thursday 28th February. Entries should be given directly to Miss Kelly no later than this date.

Good luck!
