While the routine of school has come to a halt for the seven-week summer break, the pace of activity has only increased on the Senior School Villas Development with various trades overlapping on site each day. Inside the building, individual spaces are beginning to take shape and mechanical and electrical services are being installed, and outside, the envelope of the facility is moving forward rapidly, progress in these areas being supported by a largely settled spell of weather.

In order for the contractors, Thomas Johnstone Ltd, to take forward a major landscaping task in the final phase of the project, a partial road closure of Gryffe Road - from Lochwinnoch Road to Lyle Road - will be put in place for the next five weeks up to Friday 12th August. This will enable them to move site cabins onto Gryffe Road, and so clear the way for extensive ground work to take place unhindered.

The School apologises to local residents for any inconvenience this will cause.
