The Birkmyre U15 Rugby Team Triumph!
Last weekend, they won the West Shield Cup Final.
The Birkmyre boys have done it! This week, the U15s triumphantly won the West Shield Cup Final!
Ultimately beating Whitecraig 61-26, the boys played some fantastic rugby running in 9 tries and 8 conversions. Most of the boys have been playing together since Junior 3 with 19 of the 22 man squad currently attending St Columba's.
Rhu Hart ran in 3 of the tries, Adam Hannah 2, Thomas McKeown 2 with Finlay Davidson and Ali Dickson scoring 1 each. David Cruickshank slotted over 7 conversions and Adam Hannah 1. This short summary shows what an exciting game the final was but for a full match report and photos, please click here.
