Hockey stars and Former Pupils Imogen and Maddie return to their old stomping ground.

The former pupils praised the staff and facilities.

Today we caught up with Maddie Cleat and Imogen Davies, two Former Pupils who are visiting us from the USA. Imogen and Maddie are currently undertaking a 4 year scholarship in California and Yale, and were both were keen to utilise the schools hockey facilities during their summer break.

The girls said; “It’s great to be welcomed back and to still be allowed to use the facilities. Everyone has always been so supportive, right from when we were pupils up to where we are today. From teachers encouraging us, helping to facilitate our training and providing us with a really nice learning environment, it really has been a brilliant environment to develop”.

Imogen and Maddie added “the standard of hockey players, facilities and overall support provided by the school has really put us in good stead for the challenges ahead”.

Maddie and Imogen still have two years remaining on their scholarships and will be traveling back to the USA over the next couple of weeks.

Good luck for the season ahead from everyone at St Columba’s!
