We recognise that making decisions about further education and careers can be overwhelming for pupils. To ensure that they are well-informed and supported when they finally make their choices, we offer careers education and careers guidance to all pupils from Senior I to Senior VI.

This is provided by Heads of House through the Personal and Social Education programme and through individual interviews with pupils at key stages of transition throughout their Senior School years. We are a member of the Independent Schools Careers Organisation (ISCO). Pupils in Senior VI complete Futurewise profiling and benefit from one-to-one interviews with one of their careers professionals, a service which is also available in Senior V.

We understand the benefit to pupils of gaining a first-hand experience of potential areas of interest. All Senior IV pupils undertake two days of work shadowing and Senior V pupils undertake a week of work experience. Business Breakfasts provide Senior VI students with opportunities to learn more about a variety of career paths.
