CHARITABLE GIVING

An important aspect of education at St Columba’s is assisting voluntary organisations, making collections of items for charities and, of course, raising money for charity.  Each year the School raises a significant sum of money for different charities in a variety of creative ways in addition to form collections.

Pupils have supported diverse appeals such as Ardgowan Hospice, Yorkhill Hospital, Inverclyde Royal Hospital, Quarriers, Mission in Action, Education Action International, Breast Cancer Care, The Poppy Appeal, The Rotary Club Romania Appeal, Save the Children, Glasgow City Mission, Comic Relief, Barnardos, Red Cross, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Erskine Hospital and many more.

Staff, pupils and former pupils have also worked on challenging projects abroad, helping remote and impoverished communities.
