EXTRA CURRICULAR
Activities and Clubs
The importance of extra-curricular activities is strongly emphasised as part of school life. A dedicated and talented staff team contribute much time and energy to stimulate interest and nurture abilities in many fields.
School runs a range of extra-curricular activities at lunchtimes, after school and during the weekends. Pupils are encouraged to participate and enjoy the challenge of taking on something new. A variety of clubs and societies are offered as well as opportunities to publish the School Magazine and Senior VI Yearbook. In addition there are some after school study classes.
Tuition may be taken in a range of Extra Subjects. Pupils also embrace charity fundraising and those involved with the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award actively support community service. Activities such as school shows, musical events, an annual sports dinner and an annual Burns supper are also arranged and involve both pupils and staff.
