The annual former pupils and school matches took place on Saturday 31st March and thankfully, this year, nothing was rained off…the sun even shone! The School Pipe band paraded the teams on to the pitches which always adds to the occasion. A fantastic number of supporters turned out to cheer the teams on and all enjoyed refreshments in Junior School following the matches.
Hockey

2011
Hockey
Despite the terrible weather leading up to the match day, all was not lost and the girls still managed to play hockey at the Astroturf in April. After a hard-fought battle the School team, captained by Stephanie Kirkland, was victorious in a 3-1 defeat against Hannah Simpson’s FPs. Stephanie was also presented with the Player of the Match award; FPs Hannah Simpson and Becky Marshall were close contenders. 
Rugby
Rugby was unfortunately cancelled due to the weather leading up to the FP matches and was rescheduled to the afternoon of 19th June, with a tasty BBQ. Vice Captain, JJ Robb’s team beat Captain Jamie McDonald’s boys and on the FP side, Sean McAlindon’s FP B team was victorious. Officials decided against a Player of the Match for the School teams claiming the quality of play overall was impressive. Player of the Match for FPs was awarded to Sean Robertson.

2010
Despite cold, wet conditions the matches were a great success, enjoying support from both current and former pupils, as well as from parents and staff. Congratulations to the winning teams.
