ICT
The ICT course for Transitus and SI aims to enable pupils to gain familiarity and confidence in the use of ICT and also develop their knowledge and practical skills of ICT which can be used across the School.
Transitus
In Transitus the pupils concentrate on effective usage of application packages. They work on Word, a word processing package, PowerPoint, a presentation package, and a Unit on the Internet.
SI
SI pupils continue to concentrate on effective usage of application packages. They work on Excel, a spreadsheet package, Publisher, a desktop publishing application, and Access, a database application. By the end of the year pupils should have gained a sound understanding of the fundamentals of these programs.
