Scottish Schools Cross Country Championships

Congratulations to all athletes who took part in the Scottish Schools Cross Country Championships at Irvine on Saturday.  In gale force winds athletes performed exceptionally well.  Katie McAlpine, Kirsty Harper and Emma Leighton were placed in the top 30.  Andrew McAlpine ran a superb race and was 5th in the over-17 competition. Andrew has now been selected  to represent Scotland at the forthcomong National event at Bangor, Wales, at the end of March.
