Teacher of PE, including Hockey 
Full Time: Permanent
Start Date: August 2024

We are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Teacher of Physical Education, with a specialist knowledge of hockey, to join our highly successful PE Department from August 2024. We are a through school and the successful candidate is therefore likely to be required to teach core PE to all year groups from Early Years to Senior VI. There is also an expectation to lead two after-school training sessions per week, including Senior Hockey. All PE staff are responsible for leading a hockey team on Saturday mornings.

Head of Art and Design
Full Time: Permanent
Start Date: August 2024

Due to retirement, we are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic and well-qualified Head of Art and Design to lead our very successful Art Department from August 2024. Art is taught as a specialist subject from Junior 3 and the successful candidate will be required to lead the Art curriculum and develop the extra-curricular programme.

The successful candidate will be a passionate, skilled and inspirational Teacher of Art with a clear vision for the future development of the Department. They will be keen to promote their subject through extra-curricular opportunities such as clubs, artist visits and trips. Strong organisational and inter-personal skills are intrinsic to the role.

The successful candidate will teach Business Management at National 5 and Higher level and help to develop extra-curricular enterprise initiatives throughout the School.

The successful candidate will be required to lead the whole school music curriculum (3-18), as well as the extra-curricular programme, and to manage a team of peripatetic teachers.
