The Parents’ Association (PA) committee is composed of a group of parents committed to helping the School. We serve as a conduit for parental views and questions through regular contact and meetings with the Rector and the Head of Junior School, organise social events and help fund activities and causes for the benefit of pupils throughout the School. Examples of initiatives that we have supported include refurbishment of the School’s fitness suite, buying sports equipment, library books, musical instruments, Pipe Band uniform and playground toys.
The PA Annual General Meeting is held each spring to report on the Association's progress and achievements throughout the year and to elect members who serve on the committee for a period of three years. This event also includes presentations from Mr Girdwood and Mrs Duncan on events in the Senior and Junior Schools respectively and for the last few years has included a presentation from the Chairman of the School’s Board of Governors on development plans.
If you are interested in getting involved in the PA, or have questions/issues you would like to raise, please contact any of the committee members by clicking on the appropriate name below.
