We are thrilled to announce that our Pipe Band, ably led by Mr Gordon Bruce, have been nominated in the Scottish Pipe Band of the Year category at this year’s MG Alba Scots Trad Music Awards.
The 2022 Pipe Band season saw the school compete at all 5 Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association major championships for the very first time. It was an extremely successful campaign, with the band being crowned UK Champions, Scottish Champions and overall Champions of Champions in the Novice Juvenile B grade.

Voting closes on November 23rd, with the winner being announced at the awards ceremony at the Caird Hall in Dundee on December 4th.
Whatever the result, we are incredibly proud of the young people in the Pipe Band for their hard work and dedication – they are incredible ambassadors for our school.
