A local cultural mainstay, the Inverclyde Music Festival, which is now in its 97th year, started on Monday 22nd January with many St Columba’s pupils scheduled to compete in a range of different disciplines over the next two weeks.
As Week One of the competition draws to a close, several pupils have already enjoyed success in their classes.
First in Class:
- Megan McC (J3): Solo Verse – Primary 3 and under
- Rebecca G (J5): Solo Verse – Primary 5 and under
- Emily B (SVI): Woodwind Solo – Open (Clarinet)
- Junior 4: Group Verse
Second in Class:
- Imogen B (J3): Solo Verse – Primary 3 and under
- Leo B (J6): String Solo – Primary School Pupils (Cello)
- Junior 5&6 Choir: School Choir – Primary 5, 6 & 7
