A group of our most talented swimmers travelled to Dollan Aqua Centre in East Kilbride to take part in the Scottish Schools Swimming Association’s 2024 Championships.
This was a fantastic day of swimming, with all of our pupils doing themselves and the School proud. Three St Columba’s pupils brought home six medals from the day with Stella McC (SVI) becoming a double champion in the Butterfly.

Tom J (SIV):
Silver – Boys 15-16 200m Freestyle
Bronze – Boys 15-16 100m Freestyle
Stella, who is the current Scottish National Women’s Champion and Under 18 Champion in the 100m Butterfly and will be joining the University of Connecticut’s swimming programme in the autumn, was also awarded the trophy for Best Senior Senior Girl.
