The 98th Inverclyde Music Festival got underway on Monday 20th January in venues around Greenock. The Festival is a celebration of the musical life of the local area and has long provided St Columba’s pupils with the opportunity to compete and perform. - Cellists Christopher H (Tr) and Pippa L (SV) both being awarded in their respective categories.
- The Junior School Choir being invited to perform their rendition of ‘When I Grow Up’ from Matilda the Musical in the Festival’s closing concert on 1st February.
Unfortunately, due to the disruption caused by Storm Éowyn, the categories due to run on Friday 24th January have been rescheduled. We will update the results in due course.
With another week left to go – including a whole day of piping and drumming – we wish all our competitors the very best of luck for a fun and successful festival experience.
