We are delighted to announce that St Columba’s Junior School has achieved the Gold Reading School award.

Reading Schools is an accreditation programme developed by the Scottish Book Trust to promote and encourage a love of reading.

Last session, Miss Kelly and the Junior School Library Committee worked incredibly hard to meet the standard for the Gold award by – among other things – leading assemblies, putting on events for Book Week Scotland and World Book Day and even running a book stall at our Goodbye, Shallot event.
