Free Mental Health Support for Young People

While the summer holidays offer our pupils a well-deserved rest, we recognise that the transition away from the daily routine of school can sometimes be challenging.

Throughout the academic year we work with Kooth, a BACP-accredited digital mental health charity that provides free services through the NHS. They offer safe and anonymous support for anyone aged 13+ and are a source of support during the summer break should our pupils need it.

How does Kooth support young people?

  • Free & confidential: no cost, no referrals, and no waiting lists
  • One-to-one support: live text chats with qualified practitioners available until 10pm 365 days a year
  • Community & peer support: moderated forums where young people can share experiences safely
  • Self-help tools: mood trackers, goal-setting tools, and a library of therapeutic resources
