Next Friday (24th September), SVI will be running a festival themed charity sponging event to raise money for the charity 'GetHomeSafe'.

Their chosen charity has close links with our school and all our SVI pupils feel incredibly passionate about raising money for them. More information about this wonderful charity and its work can be found via the link here.

The event will take place during lunchtime and the rota is as follows.

  S5 - 1.05-15

Entry to the event will be a £1 donation and this will allow you to watch the sponging, be part of a festival atmosphere, access some sweet treats and find out more information about the charity.

There are additional costs for sponging, these are;

£1 for three throws at SVI pupils

£2 for three throws at teachers

Our SVI Head of Charities, Poppy and Ben also added that 'there will be special guest teachers for pupils to also throw sponges at but please go easy on them! Please get involved in this as it is for a great cause!'
