16th November 2022

Remember, Remember the 5th of November...

Guy Fawkes may have entered the Houses of Parliament with gunpowder, treason and plot in mind, but for the 56 Columbans who made their way to the Churchill Dining Room on 5th November 2022, they were thinking only of an afternoon of reconnecting and celebrating the St Columba's community.

We were delighted to be able to hold the House of Commons Former Pupils' Lunch for the first time since 2019 - a welcome return to the school calendar. It was lovely to see that so many former pupils and members of staff were able to join us for the occasion, including Mr David Girdwood, former Rector and Chairman of the Board of Governors. They were also joined by the Rector, Mrs Vicky Reilly, and Head Prefects Anna T and Matthew H.

Many thanks to Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons, Dame Eleanor Laing MP (Class of '76) for hosting us in such an incredible and iconic building and to Alumni Relations Officer Ros Davidson for organising.
