Callum, Emily & Sasha’s Symphony Success

We were delighted to learn that Callum H, Emily B and Sasha C (all SV) have successfully auditioned for BOTH the West of Scotland Schools Symphony Orchestra and the National Youth Orchestra of Scotland Symphony Orchestra.
Being part of these orchestras will provide professional training and performance opportunities to our talented young musicians. Members attend, among other things, residential courses where they are able to meet other musicians and tackle the full range of orchestral music.
All three will be playing in the Woodwind section of the orchestra, with Callum on bassoon and Emily and Sasha on clarinet. Emily has also been selected to play the bass clarinet, an instrument that she is developing a growing command of, in the West of Scotland Schools Symphony Orchestra.
They are all delighted to have been selected and can’t wait to find out what repertoire they will get to play.
