A local cultural mainstay, the Inverclyde Music Festival, which is now in its 97th year, started on Monday 22nd January with many St Columba's pupils scheduled to compete in a range of different disciplines over the next two weeks.

As Week One of the competition draws to a close, several pupils have already enjoyed success in their classes. 

First in Class:

  • Megan McC (J3): Solo Verse - Primary 3 and under
  • Rebecca G (J5): Solo Verse - Primary 5 and under
  • Emily B (SVI): Woodwind Solo - Open (Clarinet)
  • Junior 4: Group Verse

Second in Class:

  • Imogen B (J3): Solo Verse - Primary 3 and under
  • Leo B (J6): String Solo - Primary School Pupils (Cello)
  • Junior 5&6 Choir: School Choir - Primary 5, 6 & 7
