We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mrs Sheila Caldwell, Headmistress at St Columba’s School from 1976 to 1987.
Under her headship St Columba’s became co-educational in 1982, a turning point for the School, and it is a credit to her leadership that the transition was implemented successfully while the School's academic standing continued to be strong.
Sheila regularly attended School events, most recently the opening of the Science Building in November 2015. She died peacefully on 19th June 2017.
The funeral will be held at Woodside Crematorium, Paisley, on Monday 3rd July at 12 noon.
