Mrs Reid, Support for Learning, along with her twins Fraser and Kathryn in Junior 6, played as a piano trio in the Family Music Making Class and were placed 1st. Mrs Reid and Fraser played a duet in the Parent and Child Class 11yrs and under and gained another 1st. Fraser and Kathryn then played in the Family Duet Class gaining a joint second with Tara Hutton, Junior 4 and her sister Kirsty Hutton, Transitus. First in the class were Harry, Junior 6 and his brother Matthew Brodlie, SIII, what talented families we have!

Poppy Pitts, SII, achieved 1st with distinction in her class U18 strings section Grade 5-6.

Lara Nolte, Junior 6, received the Cecilia Campbell Memorial Trophy for her overall first place in the Junior 6 Solo Singing Competition.

Harry Devlin, Junior 5, was awarded 2nd place in the Solo Verse Competition on Wednesday 31st January.

Junior 4 took part in the Group Verse Competition this week, performing the poem ‘Intercity Train’. They put on a fantastic performance and were successful in winning the Wilson Mackay Trophy.

Zoë Watson, Junior 5, received First in Class for her poem ‘Dog.’

St Columba’s swept the board yesterday afternoon at the Junior 5 and under Solo Verse Class. 1st place Archie Thomson and joint 2nd place Charlie Dunnet & Rory Burns.

Zoe Sayers, SII, achieved 2nd place in Scots Poem 14yrs and under.

Hannah McCarey and Zoe Sayers, SII, received 1st and 2nd in Solo Verse 14yrs and under.

All children should be very proud of their achievements!
