St Columba’s sporting stars have been in top form this term claiming a myriad of medals across a number of sports.

Charlie B (Trans E) was participating in the Scottish Tetrathlon Championships which took place at Dollar Academy earlier this month. We are delighted to learn that Charlie won the U13’s boys section.

For those of us who are not aware, Tetrathlon is a multi-discipline competition comprising of pistol shooting, cross country running, swimming and finally horse riding and jumping.

Charlie won both the shooting and swimming phases for his section and achieved maximum points for his ride. He was also awarded the trophy for achieving the highest score at the competition.

On the court, the S1 and S2 netball teams kicked off their Scottish School’s Cup campaigns against Trinity High School. Both S1 and S2 put up strong performances and won their matches convincingly.

Well done to all the players who represented the school exceptionally well both on and off the court.

And finally, earlier this month Kirsty M (SVI) secured a gold medal at the Scottish National Trampoline, DMT (Double Mini Trampoline) & Tumbling championships in Perth.

Well done to all our sporting stars who continue to shine on and off the playing field.
