Yesterday morning, Junior 5 presented their Wee Sleep Out assembly to the children of the Junior School. The 'Wee Sleep Out' is an outreach programme devised by Social Bite, a charity whose mission is to #EndHomelessness, through inclusion, awareness raising and funding.
This year’s Wee Sleep Out will be held on Friday 6th December 2019 for all children in J4-6. During the day, the children will be donning their Christmas jumpers for a 'Wear What You Want' Day and there will also be a bake sale. As the sun goes down, we will see the assembly hall fill up with sleeping bags ready for a timely 10pm bedtime.
All money raised will go to Social Bite and we look forward to making our contribution to this most worthwhile movement.
