Congratulations to six students in SIV, Benjamin V, Maggie L, Hannah Mc, Samuel C, Magnus M and Matthew T, who have all been successful in making it to the interview stage of the Arkwright Engineering Scholarship. They have all worked incredibly hard to reach this stage in the rigorous selection process.
The Arkwright Engineering Scholarship identifies, inspires and nurtures future leaders in Engineering, Computing, and Technical Design. Scholarships are awarded to high calibre students who apply during SIV. It aims to support the students through their Scottish Advanced Highers, encouraging them to pursue Engineering, Computing or Technical Design at university and to build a career in the field.
Each Scholarship awarded is sponsored by an industrial company, university, charitable trust, trade association, professional institution, armed service, worshipful company, industry regulator or personal donor. The Arkwright Scholarship is one the most prestigious scholarship schemes of its type in the UK.
This is an amazing achievement for each of the pupils and we wish them all the very best of luck in the upcoming interview stage.
