Congratulations to Alexis Spragg (SVI) who has been selected to represent Scotland in the Euroscola project next February.
Euroscola is a project which involves Rotary Clubs sponsoring a pupil, proficient in French usually at Advanced Higher level, to join a group of school students on a visit to the European Union Parliament in Strasbourg.  Students from the 28 EU Member States are selected to become a Member of the European Parliament for one day and take the floor in plenary and committee sessions to debate and vote on resolutions on current affairs, all the while practising their language skills and networking with fellow students from across Europe.
Commenting on the announcement Alexis said, “I am grateful to the Rotary for such a fantastic opportunity particularly as I plan to study International Business at university next year.”
