Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Presentation

This morning St Columba’s School welcomed MSP Jamie Greene to St Columba Church to present our Duke of Edinburgh’s Award winners. Mr Jamie Greene gave an inspiring speech in which he focussed on the various skills that DofE instills in pupils, these were: leadership, teamwork, self-motivation, communication, confidence and consideration.
Pupils being presented with their awards were:
Gold Award - Alasdair Smith (SVI)
Silver Award - Gregor Martin and Andrew Smith (SV)
Bronze Award - Georgia Bomphray, Georgia Jennings, Harry Kellock and Allan Stirling (SIV)
A remarkable achievement from all pupils, a very well done.
